We were the first to describe the buddy catheter technique in 2008

-John Roshan, Purendra Kumar Pati, Yash Lokhandwala. Buddy catheter – To overcome difficulty in coronary sinus cannulation. Indian Heart Journal 2008; 60: 67-68.

We ​did the first  ICD lead extraction using the Tight rail device 25-9-2017

-Cardiovascular implantable electronic device lead removal in a resource-constrained setting: A single-center experience from India Dec 18, 2019 Indian Pacing And Electrophysiology Journal Sakshi Parasrampuria, Sirish Chandra Srinath Patloori, Reka Karuppusami, David Chase, John Roshan   

We have the first electro-physiologist in the country who has done a pediatric electrophysiology fellowship.       

-Dr. John Roshan who has trained in SickKids, Toronto Canada helps handle pediatric ep cases referred from within the country and abroad.

The first esophageal EP study in neonates done on 13-8-2014

The first VT ablation involving activation mapping done with ECMO support 22-11-2016

The first MICRA pacemaker implantation in a patient with prior mitral valve replacement and tricuspid valve annuloplasty was done on 8-09-2022.

We did the  first zero fluoroscopy  AVNRT ablation in the country

We did the  first zero fluoroscopy  VT ablation in the country
